This week on VeVe brought together some of Spider-Man’s most familiar headaches, a new Master Splinter lineup, and a street-art robot doing its best to escape the inside of a spray can.

The Marvel Mightys took a trip through Spidey’s rogues’ gallery, Splinter showed us everything from quiet reflection to full combat mode, and Chris Robots Will Kill made his VeVe debut with Under Pressure. Over in digital comics, Black Panther faced two very different enemies while Ultraman Vol. 17 delivered some major revelations for Rena Sayama.

Marvel Mightys – Spider-Man: Sinister Villains

The Marvel Mightys – Spider-Man: Sinister Villains digital collectible series brought together six familiar faces from Peter Parker’s world.

Electro, Sandman, Vulture, Mysterio, and Doctor Octopus each represent a different kind of threat, from raw electricity and brute force to illusion, invention, and revenge. Then there is J. Jonah Jameson, proving once again that you do not need superpowers to make Spider-Man’s life significantly more difficult.

Each Mighty includes idle and tap animations inspired by the character’s abilities or personality. The small format keeps the designs playful, and each one gets its own bit of personality through the way it moves.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Master Splinter

The Master Splinter digital collectible series explored the many roles Splinter plays in the lives of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

He is their teacher, protector, father, and the calm center of a family that regularly finds itself battling mutants, ninjas, and whatever else New York can throw at them. The series moves between those different sides of Splinter, from patient guidance and quiet meditation to combat training and battle readiness.

That range means collectors get more than a set of alternate poses. Together, the pieces tell a fuller story about the character who shaped Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael into both a team and a family.

SUYE – Chris Robots Will Kill: Under Pressure

Under Pressure is a three-piece digital collectible Artwork series from New York artist Chris Robots Will Kill, presented by SUYE.

Each piece places Chris RWK’s signature robot, P.O. B.O.Y., inside a spray can. Trapped behind the glass, the character repeatedly reaches outward and presses against the walls as though searching for a way to break free.

The concept is easy to understand even before reading the artist notes. The robot keeps trying, the glass keeps holding, and the loop continues. That repeated movement captures the tension between creativity and routine, along with the pressure that can make people feel confined by the same patterns they are trying to escape.

Under Pressure marks Chris Robots Will Kill’s first release on VeVe and brings together his background in graffiti, comics, and pop culture through three distinct colorways.

Black Panther (1998) #4

T’Challa had more than one fight on his hands in Black Panther (1998) #4.

After facing the Hatut Zeraze and hearing some startling revelations from Everett Ross, Black Panther headed into his final confrontation with Mephisto. Already battered and pushed to his limits, T’Challa had to find a way past two very different enemies before the demon could drag him to hell.

It is a suitably intense chapter, mixing political intrigue and personal revelations with the kind of supernatural threat that cannot simply be solved with another well-placed punch.

The digital comic arrived on VeVe in blind box waitlist format — collectors join a waitlist for a chance to purchase, with the specific cover revealed after checkout — with five cover variants and a limited run of 1,000 editions.

Ultraman Vol. 17

Rena Sayama’s world changed completely in Ultraman Vol. 17.

After discovering that the man she believed to be her father is not her biological parent, Rena received another major revelation: she also has the power to wear the Ultraman suit.

That would already be plenty for anyone to process, but a secret group within the Star Cluster Council also arrived on Earth with a much darker objective—the complete eradication of the Ultramen.

The volume arrived on VeVe in blind box waitlist format with five cover variants, including a True Believer Variant – Secret Rare cover by series creators Tomohiro Shimoguchi and Eiichi Shimizu.

Final Thoughts

Black Panther added political intrigue and supernatural danger, while Ultraman Vol. 17 handed Rena a life-altering revelation and introduced a threat aimed at every Ultraman on Earth.

It was a nicely varied week: superheroes, ninjas, street art, comic history, and one extremely angry newspaper editor.
