Brett Crawford - S3LF MADE

Brett Crawford (b. 1967) is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Southern California. His work explores the ideas of redemption through storytelling. Characters become part of his world and create an ongoing narrative that laces itself through his collective work. Utilizing familiar figures and giving them new treatment, Brett investigates his life and journey in themes like “S3LFMADE” and “INTROSP3CT,” all of which are part street, part pop and part revolutionary. Brett bends and combines techniques to create a pictorial language that is simultaneously familiar and yet brand new. Brett has a series of exciting projects and shows that will keep him busy for the foreseeable future, and in his own words, “is living the best part of his entire life.”
