Silver Surfer

Norrin Radd lived on Zenn-La until Galactus came to devour his world. After making a last, desperate gambit to save his planet, he was turned into the Herald of Galactus as the Silver Surfer, sent to find planets for the cosmic being to devour. When he and Galactus found Earth, it was the humanity of the Fantastic Four and Alicia Masters that convinced him to rebel against Galactus, stranding the Silver Surfer on Earth.
