Sket One, painter, illustrator, and designer, began his career as a graffiti artist in the 80s. In 2003 he started designing vinyl toys for such toymakers as Kidrobot, 3-D Retro, Red Magic, Superplastic and more. Sket One has succeeded in exhibiting his custom resin work and canvases both nationally and internationally in various galleries. Sket’s work demonstrates a passion for uniting distinct components of pop culture into pieces of art that are startlingly cohesive and original. Such innovation has led him to work with Facebook, CBS, Universal Music, EMI, DC Comics, Ford, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Warner Bros, Zooyork Skateboards, and more. A collector of the souls of spent spray cans, the Greaper by Sket One features a skull-faced Greaper with a spray cap head and cloaked body. A drippy paint roller replaces the traditional scythe. Greaper is Sket’s creative spin on graffiti toys with a dark stylized vision.
