The original containment vessel of the Mind Stone, the Scepter was gifted to Loki by Thanos to lead and command the Chitauri Invasion of Earth. It has the capabilities to fire energy projectile blasts, manipulate minds, perform astral projection, and allow mental communication. In Marvel Studios’ Avengers, Loki used the Scepter to defeat a unit of armed S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and brainwash Clint Barton and Erik Selvig.
