The VeVe community has always been at the heart of what we do. From the early days of digital collecting to the thriving global community we see today, for VeVe collectors, it has always been about more than just the collectibles. It is about the stories behind them, the friendships built around them, and the shared passion that brings us all together. This makes the VeVe community spirit super strong. 

Now, it is time to celebrate that strength of spirit in the real world more often.

We are launching a new series of community-led VeVe meetups, hosted by members of the VeVe community across a broad range of cities, countries and continents. These gatherings are designed to be relaxed, welcoming spaces where conversation flows easily, and everyone shares the same passion for collecting.

If you have ever wanted to meet fellow VeVe collectors in person but haven’t been able to travel to any of the big conventions VeVe normally attends, this is your moment.

A new way for collectors to connect

Each event will be hosted by experienced VeVe moderators and trusted community members who know the space inside out. Some collectors might be long-time VeVe veterans. Others may be attending their first meetup. This could be your chance to bring along that friend who has been curious about digital collecting. Either way, you will be surrounded by people who get it.

What to expect at a VeVe meetup

These events are intentionally designed to feel casual and welcoming.

Think of them as relaxed meetups where collectors can hang out, talk about their favorite collectibles, and enjoy a few fun activities together.

At each event, you can expect:

• A friendly gathering hosted by VeVe moderators and experienced community members
• Small groups of collectors, typically up to 50 attendees, depending on the location
• Trivia games and challenges covering VeVe and major fandoms
• Digital prizes, giveaways, and mementos
• Plenty of time to chat, connect and share collecting stories
• New friendships, connections and memories

Community meetup schedule

To make it easier for collectors to attend, the first round of VeVe community-led meetups will take place alongside industry events across the United States.

If you are already planning to attend one of these conventions, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow VeVe collectors while you are there. Each VeVe community meetup will take place locally during the convention weekend, giving collectors a chance to step away from the crowds and connect in a more intimate setting.

These first meetups are just the beginning.

We are already working with community hosts to organize additional gatherings across North America, the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and more. As new locations are confirmed, we will continue updating this blog and sharing details across VeVe’s social channels.
