It is characterized by its black durasteel dome and is known for its efficiency at laying explosives to blast away rock and debris. The Jawas brought it out for display at the Lars moisture farm as one of the droids for sale where Luke Skywalker and Uncle Owen met C-3PO and R2-D2 for the first time.
