Lunar New Year: Dragon

Utilizing gold and red as the predominant colors to represent prosperity and good fortune, this stamp art features a vibrant, three-dimensional mask depicting a dragon from the Chinese zodiac. Created out of paper, then cut, scored, and folded into shape, the mask is a modern take on the long tradition of paper-cut folk-art crafts created during this time of year. In 2024, the Lunar New Year will mark the beginning of the Year of the Wood Dragon.
