The iconic “baby Lambo” debuted in 2003, resulting from an idea that dates back to the early 1970s, when Ferruccio Lamborghini began to imagine the benefits of a Lamborghini smaller in size. From there, in 1987, the L140 project was born to create a more compact Lamborghini – a mission that would ultimately be accomplished with the Gallardo.
