Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1 This illustration was for the #1 issue of the Miles Morales Spider-Man series. It represented an entirely new direction for a much beloved character. This cover served as an icon for the new series. Brian wanted to capture the playful intensity of the character but also suggests the subtle metaphor of Miles being defined by the city itself.
