David Nakayama is a Honolulu-based freelance illustrator, concept artist, and art director. He's best known for his Marvel Comics cover art (SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN, DEADPOOL) and Hasbro packaging art, but also freelances for the likes of DC, WB, Capcom, Crystal Dynamics, Abrams Books, Aconyte Books, Dynamite, Dark Horse, Fantasy Flight Games, Upper Deck, ImagineFX, and many others. He previously worked in the video game industry as an Art Lead at Jam City and led the art teams for HARRY POTTER: HOGWARTS MYSTERY and MARVEL AVENGERS ACADEMY. Before that, he was a Marketing Artist at Kixeye and Art Lead at NCSoft, on CITY OF HEROES.
