Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren’s red crossguard Lightsaber first appeared on screen in 2015 in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. Kylo Ren altered the Lightsaber after turning to the dark side. When reconstructing it Kylo used a cracked Kyber crystal, giving the Lightsaber its distinctive fractured glow.
