Kassandra

Kassandra, a descendant of Sparta’s warrior-king Leonidas, was raised by the Spartan general Nikolaos. When her brother Alexios was born, the Oracle of Delphi declared him cursed, destined to bring darkness. Defying the prophecy, Kassandra saved Alexios from being cast off Mount Taygetos. She fled to Kephallonia, where she trained as a mercenary, or misthios, armed with the Spear of Leonidas. During the Peloponnesian War, she sought to reunite her family and discovered the Cult of Kosmos, a secret society spreading chaos. In a confrontation, she learned the cult’s champion, Deimos, was Alexios, brainwashed to become their weapon. Kassandra’s fight for family and freedom foreshadowed the ideals of the Assassin Brotherhood.
