Nicoletta Baldari - Marvel Premiere #15

"The design for the cover of Marvel Premier (1974) was, in my intentions, a commission of various elements revolving around the figure of Iron Fist. I therefore decided to use a few colors: green and yellow (characteristic of the character) and the fiery red of his fist, to capture the viewer's attention. The work is a mixed media: the layout and the final cover are entirely digital, while the background is partly hand-drawn, in watercolor and digital, with a mix of screens, lines, and geometric elements that, when superimposed, create an effect of three-dimensionality and depth."
