Dynamite Entertainment has added to the lore of the seminal character Tarzan with its Lord of the Jungle series. This volume ran six issues total being published from 2022 - 2023 and following the Lord of Greystoke across two eras of his life - his youth and his later years. Written by comics legend Dan Jurgens and illustrated by the versatile artist Benito Gallego, the series received critical acclaim and was rated 9.2 out of 10 by Comic Book Roundup. The series blends a fresh narrative and visuals with the classic pulp sensibility of Burroughs original works to create something both loyal to the character and innovative for a modern audience.
