Petal Pals is Ron English’s garden of animal-flower hybrids, where every bloom has a face, a personality and a pot to call home. Growing out of English’s pop-surreal imagination, the residents of Petal Planet mix familiar animals with petals, plants and plenty of strange little character details. Some are brave, some are bashful, and some are just happy to sit in the sun. Together, they turn the natural world into something playful, weird and unmistakably Ron English.
